In 1908, Emanuele Fontanini opened his first shop, establishing a family-guided legacy that would grow into a world-renowned name in heirloom-quality religious art. Each Fontanini figure is crafted from durable polymer, meticulously sculpted, molded, and hand-painted by skilled Italian artisans using techniques passed down through generations.

Today, we proudly continue that tradition. For over 25 years, HouseOfFontanini.com has been a locally owned small business dedicated not only to offering authentic Fontanini pieces, but to celebrating and cherishing them. This Traditional Woodtone Crucifix is a timeless expression of faith. A finely detailed polymer corpus of Christ is reverently mounted on a smooth, rich wood cross. Christ is depicted wearing the crown of thorns, with visible nail wounds and a flowing garment, capturing the solemn beauty and depth of His sacrifice. At the top rests a gold-accented INRI scroll — Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum (“Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews”) — a powerful reminder of the inscription placed above Him at the crucifixion.
